Afton Locke is at the #Crossroads with Look Into My Eyes

When Gina and Ryan meet at the crossroads, will they step across for love?

Look Into My Eyes (Paranormal Romance)

Single mother Gina Cole will do anything for her daughter. She even accepts a hospice assignment to improve her chances at getting a promotion. But caring for a terminally ill patient stirs up painful memories and guilt about her late husband.

Ryan Atlee, disillusioned by his failed business, has stopped caring whether or not he gets a new kidney. But when an irresistible hospice volunteer battles her deepest fear to open her heart to him, he wants to live.

The threat of death casts a shadow on their newfound love, but anything can happen at the crossroads—if they dare to step across.

Setting: Leesburg, Virginia, and beyond…

Characters:

Ryan Atlee

He needs a kidney, not sympathy. He had a dream once. Followed it. Failed miserably. Now, he just wants to R.I.P. He only needs hospice for helping out around the house. Anything to get his crappy brother out of his life. No attachments. And, God forbid, not love. Because the end is the end, right?

Gina Cole

She needs a promotion at work to make a better life, including a real home, for her daughter. Anything to keep them from growing so far apart. When her husband passed away, it tore up their lives too, and they just need to get back on track. Why did she have to take a hospice assignment to get ahead at work? And why does he have to be so heart-stoppingly handsome? And proud? Most of all, why does he have to die?

Unless, that workshop about spirits is true…and the end is not an end, but a beginning.

I believe because things happen that science can’t explain.

I believe in spirits because I believe in God and he's a spirit.

I do believe in spirits because I think sometimes people who pass away have unfinished business they need to conclude. It could be looking after a loved one or righting a wrong that they couldn't do while they were alive.
